What a lesson with me is like

No textbook to get through, no chapter 7 because it’s week 7. We start from you.

It starts with your life, not a syllabus

Your job, your move, your exam, the conversation with your in-laws you keep avoiding. That’s the material. The grammar comes in when you need it to say something.

You do most of the talking

You didn’t come to listen to me speak French. Speaking comes first, from the first minute, at whatever level you have today.

I correct you as we go

Without stopping you every three words. I write the corrections and the new words on a shared whiteboard, so you see them during the lesson.

Explanations when you need them

We speak French as much as we can. When something needs explaining, I can do it in English or in Spanish.

You can bring anything

An email to write, a form to fill in, a meeting to prepare, a text you didn’t understand. We work on it together.

It’s allowed to be fun

People learn faster when they’re relaxed, and nobody relaxes in a classroom that feels like an exam. We laugh a fair amount. It’s still work.

Before, during and after a lesson

You book

From your account, at any time open in my calendar, between 30 days and 24 hours ahead. You get an email with the Google Meet link.

We have the lesson

55 minutes, the two of us. Click the link at the time of the lesson: nothing to install. The lesson is recorded.

Your Smart Classroom arrives

A page in your account with the summary, your vocabulary, your corrections and your homework. Usually the same day.

The next lesson starts from there

I prepare it from what happened: your mistakes, what you avoided, what you’re ready for.

How to start

1. A trial lesson

55 minutes for €25. We meet, I find out where your French is, and you see how I teach. It also opens the platform to you for 30 days.

2. A pack of lessons

If you want to continue, you buy a pack of 10 or 20 lessons, valid for 6 months. It includes the platform for as long as it is valid.

3. Your lessons, your rhythm

You book each lesson from your account. One week on Monday morning, the next on Thursday evening: no fixed weekly slot.

Questions

A computer or a tablet, a decent connection, and somewhere you can talk out loud. Headphones help. The lesson is on Google Meet and opens in your browser: nothing to install.

None. I teach complete beginners and people who already work in French.

Yes. Tell me what you need French for, and bring anything you want to work on. If you’d rather I choose, I prepare each lesson from the previous one.

As often as you want. Once or twice a week works well for most people. Before an exam or a move, you can book more.

You can cancel or reschedule for free up to 24 hours before, directly from your account. If you cancel later than that, or don’t come, the lesson counts as taken.

Because the recording is what your Smart Classroom is built from. Without it there’s no summary, no corrections and no vocabulary list to come back to. The video replay stays 30 days, the audio 6 months.

Yes: the DELF, the TEF, the TCF and the Swiss FIDE test. Exam lessons work the same way, and we train on the real format.

One lesson. Then you’ll know.

The best way to see how it works is to try one lesson.
