The Social French community

A place to write in French between lessons, with other adults in the same situation as you, and with me.

It’s part of the platform, with the A1 beginner course. Members only: what you write stays between us.

What you do there

One lesson a week is a good start. What you do on the other six days is what makes it stick.

Write in French

A few lines about your week, your new job, your first apéro. Short is fine. Writing is how the words you learned become yours.

Ask the question you’d keep to yourself

A word you heard at work, a letter you didn’t understand, how to say no politely. Nobody minds mistakes here.

Meet people in the same situation

Others are moving, working in French or preparing an exam too. You can help each other, and practise together.

Get answers from me

I read the community and I answer. If you want me to correct what you wrote, just ask.

It’s a small group today. That’s the best time to join.

The community opened in 2026. You’ll know the other members by name, and I have time to answer everyone.

The first members also shape it: tell me what you’d like to find there, and we’ll build it together.

How to join

The community is for members of the platform. There are four ways in.

With a trial lesson

Questions

As much as you can. Short and with mistakes is fine: that’s what the community is for. If you’re stuck, a word in English won’t hurt anyone.

None. Complete beginners are welcome. If you’re starting from zero, the A1 beginner course on the platform gives you your first sentences.

Only the members of the community. It’s not public, and search engines can’t see it.

If you ask, yes. I read the community and answer questions about French, and I correct posts when people want it.

No ads, no feed built to keep you scrolling. It’s a small place for people learning French, and their teacher.

Yes, whenever you want, from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Come and say bonjour

Seven days on the platform, starting in the next two minutes: the community and the A1 beginner course.
